Information for online learning is now here
The assignment from 4/13 is still due on 4/17 (scroll to bottom of page)
Week of 4/20/20
Welcome to the "new" first day of school!
Note:
Communication will now be through Schoology. Please access your Schoology account first. Links to the website (if needed) will be through Schoology. This is a District directive.
You will have an assignment posted on Schoology that pertains to Sensors. Please make sure you are familiar with Flipgrid.
You will also have a short quiz.
Another Note:
Students who have not completed their Amatrol Quiz that was DUE LAST FRIDAY, you have until tonight 4/23/2020, midnight to complete. If it is not complete the zero stays no matter.
Week of 4/27/20
You will be starting the Amatrol section on Principles of Robotics. Make sure to access the correct section in Amatrol. You will be completing the first 4 sections. One section per week. After each section there will be a short quiz.
Access your Schoology account to begin the assignment.

Hope everyone is well! Here we go!
I am preparing a series on sensors and sensor technology. Check back on Thursday or Friday to begin!
Update - 3/25/2020
On Monday I will post a series of instructional videos on Sensor Technology and Applications. Up to this point the District has not wanted CTE to post any material. So Monday is go time!!!!!!
It's go Time!
3/30/2020
At this point, in lieu of giving you more Amatrol stuff to do which I know you would hate me for, haha, I have found a few videos on sensors and sensor applications. They are short and will not take you that long. I encourage you to do additional research on sensors of different applications.
Pay close attention to what you can do with these sensors. These are the type of things that can really enhance a project in your Senior year!

3/31/2020
A short video on the differences and operation of Capacitive and Inductive Sensors. These two are widely used in robotic applications including our FANUC and Scorbot workcells.

Tomorrow we will be connecting through a Zoom conference. Let's just touch base quickly and answer any questions. You will be able to access the meeting via Schoology. I will post the link under Discussions under your particular class
We will meet at 11:00am (4/1/2020)
See you tomorrow!
A few more videos for the next two days

Hope you are all healthy and doing well.
To finish the section on Sensors will need to complete a unit on Amatrol. Quit wining. It's short. You will have all week to finish. I want to see your final online test grades on Friday the 17th.
